TECHNICAL PRODUCTION – FASHION SHOW DIOR HOMME – fall winter 2021-2022

The daily ceremony. For her Winter 2021-2022 collection for the house of Dior, Kim Jones is inspired by the masculine extravagance of formal wear, a living link with the past. Like haute couture, it links current affairs with heritage, like a window into history. Alongside heritage, the contemporary: the Artistic Director haschosen to collaborate with the British painter of Scottish origin, Peter Doig.

The collaboration between Kim Jones and Peter Doig extends to the decor of the digital spectacle: the stage is also a work, an installation imagined by the painter, evoking his painting Speaker / Girl (2015).
